Creepy...even for adults. The book was no less creepy even without the visuals of a movie. ALTHOUGH, it is an excellent point as to why Neil Gaiman is probably my all time favorite author! How he can create this creepy little story and make me feel/see frightened, is proof of his writing finesse. To think that this started as a 5-10 page story for his daughter and made references to a home he lived in as a child with a similar door.

Good movie, but not for everyone.
