This Is It

☆☆☆1/2

"This Is It" is a fascinating look into Michael Jackson's genius behind the scenes as he worked on every detail of what was to be his comeback concert.

This documentary falls short when it comes to giving the audience more of an idea who Michael Jackson really was.
Where was the song "Ben?"

I have to agree with the movie reviewer. I wanted more! I am only a year younger than Michael Jackson and I grew up listening to him. I cannot listen to the Jackson 5 without thinking of my childhood and how much we loved them.

But, this movie left a lot of those glimpses out. The one time when they played a b/w video in the background from the early years, I nearly cried because it hit me as to how much a part of our lives he has been. What happened to our little Michael? ABCs, Ben, Rockin Robin, etc. What memories!

I'm glad I went to see the movie, though. It was worth it and especially for the older crowd that has a real history of his performances.
