In this romantic thriller (based on Philip K. Dick’s “Adjustment Team”)…politician David Norris meets and falls in love with Elise Sellas (solid performances by Matt Damon and Emily Blunt).
Since this relationship is not part of Norris’ destiny, according to “The Chairman,” the Adjustment Bureau intervenes.

The story moves from excitement to silliness…ridiculous conversations between the men of The Bureau (wearing magical fedoras and acting like robots) and Norris who is determined to change “The Chairman’s” (God’s) plan.

Is it metaphysical…is it science fiction (not really)?
It’s mostly just a movie that doesn’t work.
