Hope Springs

☆☆☆

+
Once again Meryl Streep lights-up the screen…and is the best reason to see “Hope Springs,” the story of Kay, a woman determined to get her marriage to Arnold (Tommy Lee Jones) back on track by travelling to a small town in Maine for a week of intense marriage counseling with Dr. Bernie Feld (Steve Carell).
_
We have two characters that are clearly stuck in a routine (we get it) and always grumpy (Arnold) or always unhappy (Kay).

Elisabeth Shue and Jean Smart are wasted in this film.

Rated PG-13
1 hr. 40 min.
