Once again Meryl Streep proves she can do anything!
Ricki (Streep) is an aging rocker, who after choosing career over family, comes back after several years to support her daughter through a devastating break-up.

The screenplay, written by Diablo Cody, is poorly written. The story has underdeveloped situations and characters, and the adult daughter was seriously "over directed."
Streep elevates any movie she is in...thus the third ☆.
