Kiki Layne and Stephan James give outstanding performances as Tish and Fonny, a young couple living in Harlem in the 70s and facing discrimination from the police force and justice system.
Look for a best picture nomination and possibly noms for Layne and James as well.

The movie ended leaving viewers with so many questions...even though it was probably the best ending to keep the story "real."
